Mobility Abroad publishes practical information to help disabled travellers and people with reduced mobility ask better questions and plan with greater confidence.
Who is responsible
Destination and planning guides are reviewed by John Greenan, founder of Mobility Abroad. His background includes co-founding and operating the original Costa del Sol mobility-equipment service from 2001 and throughout the following decade. Individual pages show their review date.
How we prepare our guides
We combine first-hand operational experience with current information from transport operators, airports, municipalities, tourism bodies and responsible providers. Research, drafting and quality-control tools may assist the process; Mobility Abroad remains responsible for source selection, verification and the published result. Our full process is set out in How we research accessible travel.
Accessibility is individual
We do not describe an entire resort, hotel or journey as suitable for everyone. Needs differ, facilities change and an accessibility label rarely contains enough detail. Readers should confirm important measurements, assistance arrangements and equipment specifications directly with the responsible provider before booking and again before travel.
Originality and sources
We do not copy or lightly rewrite other publishers’ guides. External material is used to identify facts that require checking, then verified through a primary or properly licensed source wherever possible. First-hand and historical knowledge is identified honestly, and current claims are date-stamped when their status may change.
Commercial independence
Advertising and affiliate links help fund this website. They do not buy favourable editorial coverage or higher accessibility assessments. Commercial links and complimentary placements are labelled. A listing is not an accessibility endorsement.
Reviews and corrections
We correct material errors when identified and revise guides as reliable new information becomes available. If you spot information that may be outdated, use the contact route on this website and include the page address, the point needing correction and, where possible, the responsible primary source.
